A letter written by 7 year old US born Indian girl

I am sending my friend Flat stanley to you. I want him to visit you so that you can tell him all about the place you live and your culture and custom. Because flat stanley is so flat that he could travel to places much faster and cheaper and we get to learn about the places he visited. Please take a look at the attachements for details.

Flat stanley is a school project that I am doing for my social science class. Flat stanley has to go back to my teacher with the all good details about the place he is.

All you have to do is send an email to my teacher at bmyers@harrisburgacademy.org/ with all the details. If you could take a picture of flat stanley with other kids it will be a bonus point for my project.

I really appreciate your help. I know I could count on you. If you know anybody else. who can help me with this project please let them also know.

Hi! My Name is flat Stanley. I come carrying a happy greetings from our friend Sarika Nadar. I was sent to you by my friend Sarika Nadar. We knew that you just love to help us learn about new places. I am very excited to be with you!

In school we are learning how to locate our state and county as well as other countries on the maps and globes, Please take me to a specific land mark specific to the city/state/country that you live in and take a picture with me there. If you prefer, you may make a small souvenir with me instead. Since I am coming to you by email, please send an email back to our 2nd grade teacher with the pictures of your place and you, giving specific interesting facts about the place you live. It will be very helpful for us.

Then send be back to school so that I can share all the good things that I have learned with other friends. This will help them understand and appreciate other cultures and customs around the world.
