As you all might know, the sole objective of Mazhalaigal.com is to develop personality of children and display their skills to the world. One's personality develops with knowledge maturing into wisdom through education and experience. A substantially large number of children in our country do not have the means to get good education being the basic necessity for development in this competitive world. The work of merely maintaining a website and adding contents for the children to see reaches only those children who are already blessed with the required means to get quality education as well as exposure to various fields of life including art, general knowledget and entertainment.

We, the creators of Mazhalaigal.com wish to do much more than this by way of serving the needy children to get all the above benefits. This task can be fulfilled only by providing these children with the necessary materials such as text books, story books, books on general knowledge and various accessories including but not limited to articles such as notebooks, sketch books, pencils, color pencils, crayons, water color box, access to a personal computer with internet connectivity etc. We also aim at extending whatever assistance we can to such organizations like sevalaya who are already established and functioning well in service of humanity.

We have already conducted contests for children in sketching and story writing and distributed prizes to them once. We very much wish to enable these needy children also to participate in such contests and win prizes which will encourage them towards self development. We also aspire to regularly conduct contests in various other curricular as well as extracurricular activities of children in the near future.

The money that we receive from viewers towards this Children's welfare and Development Fund will be accounted for and reports submitted for the notice of all viewers periodically. Such assistance will be extended to children who are living in various places of India without being restricted to any particular town or village depending on the feasibility and limitations imposed by circumstances.

Though we have ambitions to be able to do considerable amount of service to the needy, time is not yet ripe for us to discuss all these as we have just set foot in this path and we have to do something worth the while to discuss further.
